A 1910 bookbinding crafted by the esteemed artisans at Sangorski & Sutcliffe provides the inspiration for this Paperblanks design. Created originally to encase a compilation of verse titled Háfiz̤ of Shíráz: Selections from His Poems, the artwork is dominated by three spectacularly bejewelled peacocks. Each bird is rendered using eight distinct inlaid colours, with the entire composition adorned by leafy foliage and intricate gold tooling.
