Description
The Shuttle pen is a slim retractable space pen manufactured from brass. The chrome plated body is engraved with a grid pattern finished in either black or gold.
Fisher's pressurised refill allows the Shuttle to write at any angle and over many surfaces in adverse conditions and of course in zero gravity.

Beautiful/comfortable to hold and write with. Cartridge still good after over 50 years!
Still my favorite, has a great weight to it, writing is faultless, and I have one gifted to me back in 1967 from my father. He received a commendation from NASA back then, for his work in the space program from Alan Shepard's Mercury capsule to the Apollo series. He has passed away, but the pen he gave me then is still perfect. I haven't even needed to replace the cartridge. So decided to gift my 2 younger brothers with these just now, wish I hadn't waited so long.
