These are two beautiful inks from Sailor. They both behave well, show some shading and have decent dry times. The bottles are lovely and have a little ink reservoir to help you use up every last drop.<\/p>\n

Sailor Jentle Grenade<\/h2>\n

This is a rich dark plum colour. It reminds me of food, as most things do. In this case, it reminds me of a bottle of cassis, ready to be poured into ice cold wine to make a kir. Or an overripe plum.<\/p>\n

There is some shading although not a huge amount as this is quite a saturated ink. Enough to give your writing some character. Dry times are reasonable \u2013 don’t read too much into the dry times in the review, the Noodler is like a firehose.<\/p>\n

Sailor Jentle Apricot<\/h2>\n

Now talking of food, here is one that is actually named after a fruit. Imagine picking an apricot from the tree on a gloriously hot summer’s day. This is the colour of the flesh of that apricot. It is delicious.<\/p>\n

This ink lifts my soul and makes me so very very happy.<\/p>\n

You can’t go wrong with these inks. The Apricot in particular has rapidly become one of my most favourite inks ever. They are happy joyful inks that make you want to pick up a pen and write and write and write and write…<\/p>\n
